Help! My car has been stolen!

In case of complete theft (your car has been stolen).

  • Report the disappearance immediately to the police (112).

In case of partial theft (something has been stolen from your car).

  • Report this to the police by filing a report with the guardia civil and take sufficient photos.
  • Take the necessary measures to prevent anything else from being stolen from your car or further damage occurring; for example, cover broken car windows with plastic.
  • Take the vehicle to the workshop for repair as soon as possible, especially in the case of damage to locks.

Tip! Never leave objects in the car. Objects that disappear from the car are not covered. Only if you have taken theft coverage, do you have limited coverage of up to €300 in case of theft (from the car) of suitcases/everyday clothing when traveling outside your usual place of residence.

How do I urgently report my claim to ZURICH?

  • Call the 24/7 emergency number (0034) 933 660 777, where you will be assisted in English, French, German, or Spanish (sometimes via interpreters).

Tip! Add this number to your phone's contact list. For example, under the name 'Report Zurich Claim.'
